Championship esports stage with players seated under arena lights

EsportSphereAU.com · 2026

Tournaments with a city, a format, and a number.

Ten flagship LANs make the 2026 sphere. Online qualifiers feed them. Circuit points only move when the match is on the published board.

ValorantAUD 180,000

Southern Arc Invitational

Sydney opens the year. Agent pools are locked 48 hours out. Each series is first to two maps, and the lower bracket starts on Sunday morning so travel days stay honest.

  • 14–16 March 2026 · Harbour Glass Hall
  • 8 clubs from the summer online cup
  • Sydney servers, coach audio isolated
Counter-Strike 2AUD 150,000

Locksite Classic

Melbourne’s bomb-site classic. Groups are double round robin on the opening Saturday. Overtime is MR3. Utility damage is published with the vod, not as a rumour.

  • 4–6 April 2026 · Yarra Circuit
  • 12 clubs, four advancing
  • Stage volume capped for call clarity
League of LegendsAUD 220,000

Rift Pacific Split

The longest event on the sphere. Weekly series in Brisbane, a fearless draft in week five, and a four-team final weekend with side selection earned, not gifted.

  • 9 May – 21 June 2026 · Civic Dome
  • 8 organisations, home and away weeks
  • Prime slots 17:00 AEST
Dota 2AUD 120,000

Outback Crown

A two-day crown in Brisbane. Captains draft the hero pool the night before. Games are unpaused for technicals only, and the ancient race is allowed to be ugly.

  • 18–19 July 2026 · Riverfire Hall
  • 6 invited sides from the online table
  • Double elimination, bo3 until the final bo5
Call of DutyAUD 100,000

Night Grid Open

Perth after dark. Hardpoint, search, and control on a published map order. Substitutes must be on the roster list by the Monday prior.

  • 8–9 August 2026 · Swan Laneway
  • 16 teams, open bracket plus seeds
  • Doors 16:00 AWST
EA Sports FCAUD 80,000

Pitch Black Cup

Adelaide treats the controller final like a night match. Custom settings are frozen. Extra time is sudden, and the desk charts chance creation, not just the scoreline.

  • 12–13 September 2026 · North Terrace Forum
  • 32 players, single elimination
  • Matched monitors, no local overlays
Rocket LeagueAUD 70,000

Boost Meridian

Canberra’s arena is small on purpose. Series are best of seven from the semis. Camera settings are player choice. The ball cam argument stays in the team room.

  • 3–4 October 2026 · Civic Dome annex
  • 12 trios
  • Wired only, ping posted before map one
Apex LegendsAUD 60,000

Canyon Week

Hobart runs six games a day with a published drop map. Placement points mirror the international table so a third-party still has to be earned.

  • 24–25 October 2026 · Derwent Floor
  • 20 trios
  • Map order locked on Thursday
Rainbow Six SiegeAUD 90,000

Shield Quarter

Melbourne again, this time for executes and plant denial. Map bans are public. A technical pause longer than ten minutes restarts the round only by referee call.

  • 14–15 November 2026 · Yarra Circuit
  • 8 lineups
  • Ban phase on the broadcast desk
Street Fighter 6 · Tekken 8AUD 75,000

Golden Gauntlet

Sydney closes 2026 with two brackets under one roof. Pools in the afternoon, top eight at night. Controllers and leverless are both legal if they pass the Saturday check.

  • 5–6 December 2026 · Harbour Glass Hall
  • 64 per title after online pools
  • Stage audio ducked under hit sparks

How a club qualifies

Each flagship has an online cup four weeks prior. Points from the cup seed the LAN. Wildcards are invited only when a qualified side withdraws in writing.

What the referee owns

Pauses, roster checks, and stage calls. Coaches talk between maps. In-game coaching is off unless the title’s published ruleset for that weekend says otherwise.

What the broadcast owes

A clean observer, a delay long enough for tactical safety, and a vod the same night. Rankings update the next morning on EsportSphereAU.com.
