Editors at a night production floor overlooking the Sydney skyline

The desk · 2026

A circuit desk, not a highlight account.

EsportSphereAU.com opened for the 2026 season to keep Australian tournaments, rankings, and competitive setups in one place, written in plain English.

Why the sphere exists

The year was scattered. The board was not.

Clubs were flying to weekends that lived in five different posts. Gear advice was either an ad or a forum thread from another climate. Rankings reset every time a publisher changed a logo.

The desk in Phillip Street publishes one circuit. If it is on EsportSphereAU, it has a date, a city, a format, and a points line. If it does not, it is not our season.

Match desk

Calls the weekends, writes the veto, and updates the board the next morning. No anonymous “sources close to the server”.

Gear desk

Tests mice, boards, displays, and audio against stage noise, travel, and ten-hour blocks. Notes stay specific to the title.

Floor desk

Handles accreditation, observer standards, and the boring excellence of a vod that is labelled by map.

What we will not do

  • Invent a sponsor quote to decorate a gear note.
  • Treat a publisher ladder as if it were our circuit.
  • Bury a format change inside a social caption.

What the 2026 season covers

  • Valorant, Counter-Strike 2, League of Legends, Dota 2, Call of Duty, and EA Sports FC.
  • Rocket League, Apex Legends, Rainbow Six Siege, Street Fighter 6, and Tekken 8.
  • Overwatch 2, Fortnite, PUBG, and Marvel Rivals on the wider watch list.
